    Circle for most VTTs, square for grid maps and print, hex for hex maps.

Is this token border generator free?

Yes. Every border style, color, shape and size is free to download, with no account and no watermark.

Can I download a token border without a picture inside?

Yes. Without an image, “Download border” saves the frame alone as a transparent PNG, ready to layer over art in your VTT, an image editor or a print layout.

Can I download every border at once?

Yes. “All borders as ZIP” saves your current shape, colors and width in every style, one transparent PNG each. Add art first and the pack wraps it instead, so you can compare styles side by side.

What size are the token borders?

Pick 256, 512, 1024 or 2048 px, or a Roll20, Foundry VTT, Owlbear Rodeo or print preset. Borders are drawn as vectors at the size you choose, so they never blur.

Do the borders work on square and hex tokens?

Yes. Every style follows the shape you pick: circle, square, pointy-top hex or flat-top hex.

Can I color-code borders for players and enemies?

Yes. The faction ring takes a team color as its accent, and every style takes any border and accent color, so each side of a fight can have its own look.

Can I use these D&D token borders in my published adventure?

Not with the free version: free borders are for your own games, streams, videos and free handouts. Selling products that include our borders needs a commercial license. The art inside each token needs its own permission too.
