Cookie Policy

This policy lists the cookies and browser storage thetokenmaker.com uses. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.

Short version: we remember your last token style in your browser and use PostHog analytics to see how the site is used. We don't use advertising cookies. In the EU, EEA, UK and the rest of Europe, analytics cookies are only set if you accept them.

Cookies we set

Name	What it does	How long
PARAGLIDE_LOCALE	Remembers the site language.	About 13 months

Analytics

We use PostHog (PostHog, Inc., US) to understand how visitors use The Token Maker, such as which pages they visit and whether a token was downloaded, and to record anonymized session replays that help us find confusing parts of the site. Text typed into fields is masked in replays.

Name	What it does	How long
ph_<project key>_posthog (cookie and local storage)	A random ID that links your visits	1 year

If you are in Europe, we ask first. Until you accept, and if you reject, PostHog counts visits without cookies or browser storage and without session replay. You can change your mind by clearing this site's cookies, which shows the banner again.

Browser storage

• ttm:last-style (local storage): the shape, border and colors you used last, so your next token starts the same. It never leaves your device.
• ttm:favorite-borders (local storage): the borders you starred. It never leaves your device.
• theme (local storage): your display theme preference.

Third-party cookies

Cloudflare's security features may set cookies that are strictly necessary to tell people from bots.

Your choices

Analytics cookies are optional (see Analytics). You can delete cookies and local storage any time in your browser settings.

If we ever add advertising cookies, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
